Mid June the Timperley Lacrosse Club had a fundraising bike ride to Abersoch in Wales. The team consisted of members from all sections of the club, juniors, senior men's and senior women's who all completed the 150km ride over two days.
Day one took us through the small farm lanes of Cheshire and across the border into Bala, North Wales.
Day two saw us ride into Snowdonia National park, which is home to Wales’ highest peak, Mt Snowdon. The riding was much harder on this morning as they had to scale to the heights of the Snowdonia region. A morning where I was glad of my role as trip photographer and driver of the support vehicle! Having said this, the team was rewarded with some 20 kms down hill and a beer or 12 at the end of the day!
A big well done to all the team members and I hope the saddle sores have healed.
Enjoy the pics!!!!!
